Side by side.
Choppity details are from its own site, read on 4 October 2026. Plans change; check choppity.com before you decide.
The play counts, not only the shout
Some of the best stream moments are quiet: a slow clutch, a ridiculous bug, a kill feed filling up while the streamer says nothing. Mossclip looks at what is on screen as well as listening, so those are found along with the loud ones.
Both pictures, stacked
A vertical crop centred on the face loses the game. Mossclip finds the camera panel and stacks it over the gameplay, so the reaction and the play are both in the clip. Move either crop, save the layout, and it is applied to the whole batch and to the next job from that streamer.
Then cut by deleting words
Every clip opens with its transcript beside the video. Delete words and the video loses those seconds. Nine caption styles, every word editable, exported at 1080 by 1920.
Why people pick Mossclip over Choppity
- Stream moments found by sound and picture.
- The facecam stacked over the gameplay, not a crop to the face.
- A layout saved per streamer and applied to the next job.
- Full-quality exports while it is free.
Questions.
Which is better for gaming streams?
Mossclip is built for them: it looks at the gameplay as well as listening, stacks the facecam over the game, and saves the layout for the next stream.
Does Mossclip also clip podcasts and interviews?
Yes. They go through the same job, with a crop that follows the person speaking.
Can I edit by text?
Yes. Delete words from the transcript and the video loses exactly those seconds.
Is Mossclip free?
Mossclip is free during its closed beta. Join the Discord server, press one button, and your account is open.
