Side by side.
Klap details are from its own site, read on 4 October 2026. Plans change; check klap.app before you decide.
A stream is not a podcast
In a podcast the moment is a sentence. In a stream it is often a scream, a clutch or a silence before a jump scare. Mossclip listens for the loud parts and looks at what is on screen as well as reading the transcript, so those moments are found along with the spoken ones.
The camera goes where you put it
Mossclip finds the facecam and stacks it over the game by itself. Then the layout is yours: drag or resize either crop, save it, apply it to every clip in the batch, and choose it when you start the next job from the same streamer.
The edit is yours too
Each clip opens with its transcript beside the video. Delete words and the clip loses those seconds. Change the caption style, retype a word, export again at 1080 by 1920.
Why people pick Mossclip over Klap
- Stream moments found by sound and picture, not only by speech.
- Facecam and game crops you can move and save per streamer.
- Brief it in a sentence before the job.
- Cut a clip by deleting its words.
Questions.
Which is better for gaming streams?
Mossclip is built for them: it finds moments with no dialogue, stacks the facecam over the gameplay, and saves the layout for the next stream.
Does Mossclip also clip podcasts and interviews?
Yes. They go through the same job, with a crop that follows the person speaking.
Can I edit a clip after it is made?
Yes. Delete words from the transcript to cut the video, restyle or rewrite the captions, and export again.
Is Mossclip free?
Mossclip is free during its closed beta. Join the Discord server, press one button, and your account is open.
