Mossclip turns long videos into short clips. These are the rules for using it. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. Who we are
The service at mossclip.com is run by Mossclip, based in India ("Mossclip", "we", "us"). You can reach us at jadejakrishna42@gmail.com.
2. The service
You give Mossclip a video link or a file. It finds moments in the video, cuts them into vertical clips, adds captions, and lets you edit and download the result.
Mossclip is in beta. Features can change, be limited or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We try to give notice of changes that take away something you rely on.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
- One account per person. During the beta, an account is given through our Discord server and stays active while you remain a member.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.
4. Your videos
You keep every right you have in the videos you submit and in the clips made from them. We claim no ownership of either.
Only submit a video if it is yours, or you have permission to clip and publish it, for example from the creator, a licence or the rules of a clipping campaign. You are responsible for what you submit and for where you publish the clips.
You give us permission to copy, store, process and transform your videos only as far as needed to run the service for you: to make, show, store and deliver your clips. We do not sell your videos and we do not train models on them. How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice.
5. What is not allowed
- Submitting content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Submitting sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence against people, or content made to harass someone.
- Getting around limits, for example with extra accounts, or sharing or reselling access to an account.
- Probing, overloading or interfering with the service, or using it through automated means we have not agreed to.
- Using the service to build a competing dataset or product.
We may remove content and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
6. Copyright complaints
If you believe a clip made or shared through Mossclip infringes your copyright, write to jadejakrishna42@gmail.com with: the work you own, the link to the clip or results page, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or act for the owner. We remove what we confirm and may close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly.
7. What the AI does
Moments, crops, captions and titles are chosen automatically and can be wrong. Check a clip before you publish it. We do not promise views, followers or earnings from any clip.
8. How long clips are kept
Clips and the video they were cut from are deleted 15 days after a job is created. Download what you want to keep. We are not a backup service.
9. Plans and payment
Your account shows the credits you have and what a job will use before you start it. When paid plans are offered, the price, what it includes and the billing period are shown before you pay.
A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. Payments are handled by a payment partner, which may act as the seller of record, may add taxes where the law requires them, and applies its own terms at checkout. If a payment fails we may pause the paid features until it is settled.
10. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a paid plan at any time and keep it until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
11. Ending an account
You can stop using Mossclip at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to jadejakrishna42@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk. If we close an account that has not broken these terms, we refund the unused part of any period already paid for.
12. No guarantee
The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose.
13. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If someone brings a claim against us because of a video you submitted or how you used the service in breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India. This does not take away any protection the consumer law of your own country gives you.
15. Changes
If these terms change we update this page and its date. For a change that matters to how you use or pay for Mossclip, we also tell you by email or in the product before it applies.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms go to jadejakrishna42@gmail.com. Other ways to reach us are on the contact page.
