How a campaign works.
- 1
A brand opens a campaign
It chooses clipping or user-made content, sets what it pays per 1,000 views, and sets a budget.
- 2
You make and post clips
You cut clips from the creator's long videos and post them on the platforms the campaign accepts: TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X or Instagram Reels.
- 3
You submit the posts
The brand reviews each submission against its requirements and approves or rejects it.
- 4
Whop pays on views
After approval, Whop pays you for the views the clip got, within any minimum and maximum the campaign set.
What the pay looks like
Each campaign sets its own rate. Whop's own blog said in March 2025 that clippers are paid $1 per 1,000 views on average, and gave examples that ranged from 30 cents per 1,000 views on a music campaign to $300,000 paid out in total by one streamer.
A campaign can set a minimum payout, which filters out clips with few views, and a maximum payout per video, which caps what one clip can earn. Read both before you start.
Where clippers lose time
The pay is per view, so income follows volume and quality together. The slow step is not editing. It is finding the moment inside a long recording, then framing it so the streamer and the game are both visible.
Making the batch with Mossclip
Paste the link of the creator's stream or episode from YouTube, Twitch or Kick, or upload the file. Write what the campaign wants in a sentence. Mossclip finds the moments, stacks the facecam over the gameplay, captions every word and returns a batch. Delete words to tighten a clip, restyle the captions so your posts do not look like everyone else's, and download at 1080 by 1920.
Mossclip is not part of Whop and does not submit clips for you. You post from your own accounts and submit the links yourself.
Stay inside the rules
Clip only the content a campaign names, follow its requirements on captions, tags and length, and post from accounts you own. A rejected submission earns nothing.
Questions.
How much do Whop clippers make per 1,000 views?
It varies by campaign. Whop's blog put the average at $1 per 1,000 views in March 2025; each brand sets its own rate and budget.
Which platforms count?
Whop's documentation lists TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X and Instagram Reels for clipping campaigns. Each campaign chooses which it accepts.
When do I get paid?
After the brand approves your submission, Whop pays based on the views the clip got.
Can I use Mossclip for Whop campaigns?
Yes. Mossclip makes the clips from the long recording; you post and submit them yourself. It is not affiliated with Whop.
